We play a wide variety of music from Blues, Jazz, Reggae and Rock, to Christian Music, Metal, World and Electronica, and lots of stuff in between. We have shows with presenters talking about theatre and the arts, technology and politics, as well as shows from the Australian Community Radio Satellite (ComRadSat).
On the Far South Coast of NSW, our transmission covers from Merimbula in the South, and North to Wallaga Lake.
Bega Access Radio is a registered not-for-profit community group. We rely on membership, sponsors and patrons to cover costs, and our many members to keep things moving. Membership starts from $17, and you can become a presenter and have your own show, training provided.
We operate the radio station 2BAR under the trading name ‘Edge-FM’.
The organisation consists of a committee of up to 7 people which currently hold monthly meetings, and our esteemed members. We hold an Annual General Meeting in December of each year.
